The reason this appeals to me is because as a programmer I really should be using DVORAK, however after 15 years in the biz I've never had the opportunity to use a DVORAK keyboard. With this keyboard I could reconfigure the keys at will to get myself used to DVORAK, but ultimately I would probably arrange the keys to simplify gaming. :)

I think both responses are missing the point. This is a customizable, macro, keyboard design. The primary use as explained in the description is for repetitive tasks. This is in fact a fantastic idea. The concept can easily be placed in any computer environment. I can especially see the affect this might have in a gaming setting. This is also not suggestion you completely replace you current keyboard, rather use this as a suppliment. Ergonomically this is a fantastic idea as well for those repetitive necessary key strokes. The ability to map out specific funtions and macros to keys and then to lay them out in a fashion that can make work faster and simpler is ideal. Thanks.

COOL! That's really cool, for some one like me, who uses lots of custom macros all day, that would be awesome. And in regards to earlier posts

I USE DVORAK!

I couldn't stand using qwerty, and now my hands thank me for it.

This keyboard is a quirky invention, but i doubt it will have much application for the everyday person. Because everyone is used to the QWERTY keyboard, they won't want to change just for the sake of a cool new piece of technology. Also, if new typers use this keyboard and get used to it, they will have a hard time adjusting to the standard QWERTY if the need arises.

This is a crappy keyboard for anyone who is used to the standard QWERTY keyboard because of the simple fact that we are all used to using that keymapping, possibly a good idea for the newcomers to typing but I would not reccomend it.
